🎨Animating The Great Replacement of Twitter (subsequently X)
A bonkers billionaire & a threat to the nation...
Greetings from the Land of Cartoons!
By now you’ve probably seen clips of an unhinged Elon Musk throwing f-bombs at X Corp’s former advertisers.
Scores of big corporations fled what used to be called Twitter when Media Matters revealed that ads were being served up next to pro-Nazi content.
Wow, this free speech stuff is complicated!
Actually, it’s not.
You’re free to advertise next to whatever horrible “content” you choose, you can also choose not to advertise next to abhorrent content.
This is, unfortunately, much more than just a sideshow about an unstable billionaire running a withering social media company into the ground.
Even though he doesn’t know how to run a social network, Elon Musk does have a powerful megaphone and supports a man who could become the first Dictator of the United States.
Consider this X Corp nonsense a signal flare of our potential doom.
It all gets a little scarier when you learn that actual government officials are doing the dirty work for Musk and Trump.
Unfortunately, the hatred that is increasingly taking over the “public square” represents a growing threat to our country.
What better way to spread a warning than through cartoons?
I’m so glad to be with you here and not on Twitter/X!
And in case you missed my earlier sneak preview of this animation, you can find it here!
Animating an antisemitic billionaire...
Now that I’m back from a short Thanksgiving break, I want to give you a little peek at what I’m working on this week: Elon Musk and what used to be Twitter. The short version is, Musk posted in support of a clearly antisemitic tweet the day before Media Matters for America reported
Thanks for being here!
