Hi friends!

I thought events of the last 24-hours warranted a fast-turnaround cartoon.

These loose, sketchy cartoons can be a lot of fun and have considerably fewer hours of animation production.

Now I’m adding my voice to the firehose of pundits commenting about President Biden’s decision to not campaign for another term and Kamala Harris stepping in as the presumptive Democratic nominee . . .

In this day and age, sometimes the best gauge of whether you’re doing something right is to see how much the right-wing Trumpists fulminate on the other side.

One day they want Biden to resign and stop his campaign, the next, they decry what an affront to democracy it is when the ol’ feller decides he’s throwing in the towel.

Either way, I’m happy when the anti-democratic right-wingers are unhappy and threatening to sue.

Kamala Harris is a Bay Area icon . . . who will hopefully wipe the floor with Trump. (No, that is not an assassination threat.)

It’s already very helpful to have a candidate who can think on her feet and is a great speaker.

Here’s to a long and fulfilling retirement for Joe . . .
