Now that it’s time to get more people on the streets to peacefully protest, I want to share some cartoon signs with you.

There are of course the ongoing protests in Los Angeles and a few other cities — and many “No Kings” marches coming up on Saturday (coincidentally, the same day as Donald Trump’s birthday/Army autocracy-fest).

Stephen Miller threw a hissy fit that led to more heavy-handed ICE raids of regular immigrants just trying to earn a living — which of course spawned protests that Trump used as a pretext to send in the troops — so it’s time to march.

Remember, the more peaceful protesters there are who take to the streets, the less the media will focus on burning Waymos and graffiti with naughty words.

Speaking of graffiti…

Meanwhile, Trump says that people who protest his chest-thumping birthday party and Army-palooza “will be met with very heavy force.”

Last I checked, protest was protected in the United States Constitution and was a pretty American thing to do.

And even though all those tanks rolling into Washington, DC look pretty ominous, they’re no match for thousands of peaceful protesters.

The more Trump tries to make himself into a strongman, the more ridiculous he looks — although he does have some scary tools at his disposal and is going to keep trying to use them.

I hope we can turn this into a sea of people on the streets, marching with signs, songs and kids in tow.
