Speaker McCarthy talks about "negotiation" and "good faith" but don't believe it. What's really going on is Republicans are trying to force the country to adopt their extreme right-wing fiscal plans or else they will blow up the economy. You can see the cartoon here.
New Animation: Joe Biden’s ‘Opposite Doctrine’
Biden campaigned on protecting the Arctic but recently backed a project that will allow ConocoPhillips to refrigerate the melting permafrost (really!) so their equipment won’t get stuck as they extract more oil.

New Animation: Right-Wing Travel
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas likes to bill himself as a regular guy who spends time in Walmart parking lots in his RV.
Thanks to reporting by ProPublica, we now know that in truth, it appears that he actually prefers private jet travel and spending time on a luxury super yacht with a Republican billionaire, surrounded by corporate executives, political operatives, Federalist Society lawyers.
Oh, and since this cartoon came out, we learned that Harlan Crow also bought Thomas’ mom’s house. Nice gig if you can get it! (See the cartoon here.)
