In case you were distracted by the 5,000 other outrageous things happening in this time of Trump, there is one story in particular that caught my eye today.

It is yet another attempt to kill us.

In this case, death will be by particulate matter, poisonous mercury and climate change mayhem, take your pick.

The Trump administration is set to give $625 million to help prop up the dying (and killing) coal industry.

And while they’re at it, they’re going to open up 13.1 million acres of our federal lands for mining.

From a scientific, economic and moral perspective this makes absolutely no sense.

Which means it’s perfect for the Trump administration!

They’re also going to roll back as many previous safeguards as possible. (Let’s not call them “regulations,” these are safeguards to keep us from killing ourselves with fossil fuel extraction.)

This all fits very neatly into Trump’s weird revenge campaign against solar and wind power — he first threw an anti-wind hissy fit in 2010 when an offshore wind farm was going to be visible from his golf course in Scotland. (He fought it and lost.)

Of course this is about paying back campaign contributors — but it also fits into my “Obama Bed Theory.”

Whether or not the “Pee Tape” exists, the story goes that doing sordid things on a bed where the Obamas slept was part of the driving/motivating/arousing factor.

Once you know where to look, our democracy is filled with Obama beds just waiting to be defiled by our mad autocrat.
